About
There are lots of opportunities to take pictures – your child’s costume for a school play, vacations, special occasions, events or to record an object (like selling something on eBay).
Most people however, are not happy with the photos that they take. It’s easy to blame the camera and use the excuse that a more expensive one would do a better job.
The good news is that you don’t have to buy an expensive camera to get good pictures. All you need is to learn is some basic photography know-how.
Simplify Pictures will show you how with easy instructions and tips.
Cyndy’s experience with photography started as a child when her parents let her take pictures during a family vacation to Disneyland. They couldn’t get the camera out of her hands!
She went on to study photography at the California College of the Arts in California. Her fine art photographs have been shown in galleries like Isabelle Percy West in Oakland and COOP 52 in Occidental, California. She has also worked on a number of Bay Area independent films as a still photographer.
The most valuable knowledge she brings to Simplify Pictures comes from her many years working directly with beginning photographers while working in the photo labs.
When asked about the difference from film to digital, she says, “The change to digital seems like such a big shift, but the basics of photography haven’t changed and the questions people have are mostly the same as when we all used film point and shoot cameras.”
